Control Equipment Engineering Department, SCR Group, BHEl Bhopal has successfully developed control panel for AC-DC version of WDS6 Shunter locomotive, which shall upgrade the old technology DC-DC version WDS6 shunter locomotive to AC-DC version. This development has been carried out for RINl, Vizag and the equipment has been delivered before schedule.
After Successful commissioning and implementation of the development, a new R&U (Retro-fitment and Up gradation) business opportunity shall emerge, bringing in orders from RINl and other Steel plants. CEE department has also successfully engineered and executed Mini PCR for Oil Rig and 35 kA, 400 V large current Rectifier.
