Under Corporate Social Responsibility, BHEl every year awards scholarship to Engineering and MBBS student belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. This year also a Cheque distribution programme was organised the other day at Vikram School (Primary Wing) BHEl, Berkhera Bhopal wherein 37 students were presented scholarship this year. The value of scholarship is Rs 24000 per annum.
President BHEl ladies Club Neelima Prasad was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion. AGM (TAD) BK Singh was also present during the ceremony. All Vice Presidents and senior members of BHEl ladies club and officials of TAD department were also present.
Prasad in her word of remarks applauded the CSR efforts of BHEl Bhopal and said that the scheme will go a long way in spreading the seeds of higher education amongst economically weaker sections. The scholarship recipients at this juncture expressed their gratitude towards BHEl and praised its efforts towards making higher education accessible to poor students. On this occasion the organizing team appraised the audience about the impact of this scheme, which has assisted many aspirants to realize their dreams of getting jobs in reputed companies. The program and CSR efforts were praised by one and all.
