As a part of the Independence Day Celebration, the cultural arm of BHEl, Bharat Heavy Electricals Cultural and National Integration Samiti (BHECNIS), under the aegis of BHEl, Bhopal organised a series of cultural programmes.
The programme began with Fancy Dress Competition as one of the event on the theme ‘Our Freedom Fighters’ held at Primary Wing of Vikram Higher Secondary School, BHEl, Bhopal.
BK Singh, Additional General Manager, Town Administration and Secretary, BHECNIS was present as the Chief Guest on this occasion. Among others present were Anil Ojha, AGM -HSS and Vice-President-BSM; SB Singh, Senior DGM, GPX and Secretary, BSM; Principals and Vice-Principals of the schools run by BHEl Siksha Mandal.
Urmila Shrivastava, Shrimati Kalpana Chaturvedi and Dolly Malhotra were present as the Judges of the event.The children on this occasion donned in colorful dresses portrayed the freedom fighters, emotions and regard of whom was evident from the delivery of the dialogs presented by the student.
The first prize was bagged by Soumya Sharma from Carmel Convent School, while the second prize was shared by Saloni Mukherjee (Carmel Convent School) and Radhika Patil (Vikram Higher Secondary School – Primary Wing), 3rd prize was won by Aditi Tripathi from Hema School and Consolation Prize was presented to Vaishnavi B (Pragatisheel Higher Secondary School - Piplani).
Earlier, Anita Chaturvedi, Principal, Vikram Higher Secondary, Primary Wing School welcomed the guest with floral bouquets.
