To observe Gandhi Jayanti on Monday, the tiny tots of the city performed the devotional songs. An event ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ was organised at Jawahar Bal Bhavan here on Monday wherein the little singers beautifully presented the devotional songs.
Interestingly, these were some of the devotional songs which are considered to be favourites of Mahatma Gandhi. The little singers showcasing their immense talent enthralled the audience to the fullest. It is to be noted that the children were trained by Vijay Sapre. It were the students of modern music branch of Jawahar Bal Bhavan who presented the wonderful event before the audience.
The event began with one of the favourite bhajans of Mahatma Gandhi ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’. The event was then followed other bhajans including Peer Parayi Jaane Re. The little artists wrapped up their graceful performances with the Meera bhajan Paayo Ji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan Payo.
style, uniqueness of imagination with brilliant technique made their singing enchanting. As many as 15 children presented a wonderful show before the audiences and created an ambiance of serenity and spirituality in the hall.
The director of Jawahar Bal Bhavan Tripti Tripathi, Director of theatre wing KG Trivedi, Raj Saini, Arvind Sharma, Sunil Srivastava and others were present.
