Annoyed and helpless students of Mansarovar Dental College, who were denied any help from Governor and Chief Minister, have decided to stage a silent protest in the city on Sunday.
Mansarovar Dental College, which was in the news over the BDS examination scam, is yet to settle as the re-conducting of practical exams by BU administration has led to protest by students and the issue has taken a wrong shape as no one is ready to address the issue properly.
On Friday, when the protesting students went to meet Governor they were told that Governor would meet them on Saturday only. But when the students again went on Saturday they were denied meeting the Governor. Annoyed by the behaviour of the Governor and Chief Minister the students have decided to stage a silent protest.
The students will stage a silent protest in the form of candle march at New Market area on Sunday. Sources said that a list had been provided of suspected students and several students who had facilitated the services in the examination were arrested which leaves no space for punishing the remaining students. Meanwhile, a student, who participated in the rally charged that BU administration was not ready to address their issue and never paid heed to their grievances and said they were forced to protest against the atrocious behaviour of the BU administration.
