The Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) on Wednesday announced that the registration of one BHK and two BHK housing units in Navibagh Affordable Housing Scheme at Karond has been extended till July 11.
Notably, the dates for the registration of these housing units were earlier announced from May 30, 2016 to June 30, 2016. Under this scheme, 295 housing units of two BHK and 20 housing units of one BHK were available. Considering the interest of the citizens in this scheme, BDA has now decided to extend the date of registration.
Considering the interest shown by the citizens in the camps held by the BDA for selling the property under different schemes, the decision was taken to extend the date for the registration of housing units under Navibagh Scheme. There are 516 housing units and in this big housing scheme each one BHK housing unit has an area of 350.45 square feet. Its cost has been fixed at Rs 5.50 lakh. The area of the two BHK housing unit is 550.37 square feet. The cost of two BHK unit has been fixed by the BDA as Rs 12.38 lakh. Under the Affordable Housing Scheme, on the lIG and EWS housing units the beneficiaries will get a loan at low interest rate of 6.5 per cent from Bank of Baroda and OBC Bank.
