Associate Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) H Mishra, Atomic Energy department’s member secretary lalit Vaishno, Technical Transfer Division Head of BARC Krishna Gupta and scientist of Research for Advance technology Purushottam Shrivastava met Mayor and MlA Malini laxman Singh Gaud and IMC Commissioner Manish Singh here on Saturday at the office of the Mayor.
During the meeting, the experts informed that sewage and septic tank waste, if not treated properly, becomes poisonous, as it contains hazardous metals like arsenic, cadium, chromium, led, zinc and others. The scientists on the occasion gave detailed presentation on BARC’s Tri Sludge Treatment technology. They also asked the Mayor and the IMC Commissioner to install this treatment plant at Kabitkhedi, w water treatment plant.
