The Bansal Super Specialty Hospital of Bhopal has also achieved a new status in the field of transplantation by  transplanting 100 kidneys in a very short time.

Kidney transplant is the main option for a long and better life in kidney failure patients, for a long time it was common practice to get patients treated outside the state for high level medical facilities, but in such a short time to establish High level institute for kidney transplant by Bansal Hospital in the city is a matter of pride for the state.

Dr Vidyanand Tripathi, nephrologist at Bansal Hospital and head of the kidney transplant department, said that kidney failure patients have to go to the hospital for dialysis two to three times a week and life is not very long, In terms of expenses the cost of dialysis in the long run is much higher than that of kidney transplant, so kidney transplant is like giving new life for these patients.

Dr Santosh Agrawal, Chief Surgeon, Department of Kidney Transplant and Head of Urology Department said that the specialty of these transplants is that they contain all those complex transplants like cadaver transplant, swap transplant, transplant without blood group matching, pediatric transplants and multivessal donor transplants. Donor kidneys have been extracted from laparoscopic method in all patients. All these facilities are equivalent to the facilities available only in big transplant center in the country.

Dr Ganesh Dhanuka, a nephrologist and transplant physician at Bansal Hospital, explains that the success of Bansal Hospital's transplant program is equivalent to transplant centers of major cities in India.
