Bajrang Dal activists on Friday created ruckus at MP Nagar police station demanding action against a youth who had allegedly abducted a 17-year-old girl from Rajeev Nagar on Thursday evening.
Headed by Bajrang Dal leader Kamlesh Thakur several Bajrang Dal activists protested alleging that the victim had been kidnapped at knife-point and the police were not taking any action.
Thakur said innocent girls were netted and later they were converted to other religion. If the police were not going to take action against such youths they would resort to agitations and protests, he warned. Police said that based on the complaint of the victim’s parent a missing complaint had been lodged and investigation had been started.
Meanwhile, a human chain to create awareness about ‘love jihad’ was formed at Jyoti Talkies Square to Board Office Square by ‘India against love Jihad’ on Friday here. The human chain comprised of women and girls from across all the sections.
