Bajaria police failed to trace four miscreants who escaped from police station late in the night on Saturday.
On Saturday three miscreants who have past record of vehicle lifting and burglaries were brought to the Bajaria police station for questioning. At the police station another accused Bhagat alias Bagula having an arrest warrant was locked with them.
late in the night when the on duty police personnel went outside the police station and when he returned he found that the four were missing. Senior police officials were informed and search for the absconding accused was started.
After displaying negligence of this level police were witnessed denying any such act. The four were not locked which provided an easy escape for them and proved costly for the police.
At the time of the incident police personnel assigned the night duty were not present and the only police personnel present at the time of the incident went for tea and when he returned the four went missing.
Police have denied anyone was brought for questioning and the presence of Bagula at the time of the incident. Details of the absconding accused has not been disclosed by the police and the search for the absconding accused was intensified which yielded no result till late in the night on Sunday.
No information of registering any case against the absconding accused was provided by the police when contacted and claimed that no such accident happened at the police station.
