Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Minister Antar Singh Arya has urged remaining students to avail benefit of the scheme till June 15. The Minister further said that students should visit website www.bcwelfare.mp.nic.in and apply online through link Other Backward Classes (OBC) portal 2.0. The students having applied and locked online before December 30, 2014 need not apply again.

Arya said that backward class students, who could not apply due to some reasons may get themselves registered and apply online during this period. The students whose applications have been rejected permanently may update their applications fulfilling formalities due to which their applications were rejected permanently. This is also a good opportunity for students who had applied online, but could not lock it finally. The students who remained deprived of scholarships since they could not apply for scholarship in courses uploaded on the portal after last date December 30 due to late information given by online section may also apply.

Portal will remain open for students from June 1 to 15. Institutions must examine certificates and all records and send the same for approval to Assistant Director of concerning district positively by June 22. Assistant Director may accept or reject applications by June 30 following which the portal will be closed.
