Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur chaired a meeting regarding construction works in BHEl area here on Saturday. At the meeting, Gaur directed BHEl administration, Municipal Corporation, Capital Project, Madhya Pradesh Housing Board, Tourism Development Corporation and Public Works Department to complete pending construction works in BHEl area at the earliest.
Gaur directed to complete master plan roads in BHEl area soon. Asphaltation of roads from Ward-58 Bajrang Market to Ravidas Mandir via Jaihind Nagar and Rajiv Nagar and approach road should be ensured at the earliest. Work of development and beautification of crossing under Chetak Bridge should be expedited.
Gaur said that Capital Project Administration should construct a culvert on the nullah near E-Sector Barkhera Ward-58 on the under construction road towards bypass on Raisen Road via Saket Nagar, E-Sector Barkhera-Aadharshila Colony. He directed to complete 80-foot road linking Bagh Mughliya Sant Asaram Chourahan, BHEl, Sangam-Rajat Nagar to Hoshangabad Road at the earliest.
Shri Gaur said that sewer problem of Amrai slum near AIIMS in ward-53 should be redressed and Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board should expedite the process of transferring the slum to Bhopal Municipal Corporation. He said that the district administration should allot land to Tourist Development Corporation for expansion of tourist facilities at Hathaikhera dam. It was decided at the meeting that district and police administration will take action to remove trucks illegal parked along Ayodhya Bypass and near Ahmadpur on Hoshangabad Road.
Gaur directed to complete construction of Barkhera Pathani to Amrawad Khurd road by September. He directed district administration, Capital Project Administration and Forest Department to coordinate in shifting 29 slums for protecting forest being developed by Capital Project Admin on Shahpura hillock.
