If we look at the behavior and deeds of men in today’s world, we feel ashamed. The world has guided missiles but misguided men. The situation really calls for the human race to seek the shelter of true spiritual masters so that man knows the true value of humanity and lives accordingly. One should act or behave like a human and not like a devil.
These thoughts were expressed by Saint Ashok Juneja, coordinator of Bhopal branch of the Nirankari mission who was speaking at a spiritual congregation at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Bhopal. The special Satsang was organised as a part of observance of ‘Manav Ekta Diwas’ (Human Unity Day) in the sacred memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Maharaj who laid down his life for upholding the cause of peace, harmony and universal brotherhood on April 24, 1980.
Speaking on the occasion, Sant Ashok Juneja said that Baba Gurbachan Singh’s message to the world was to love humans and shun hatred. He travelled widely in the country and abroad to spread the message of love, peace and human unity. He said that it is ironical that today we see communal tension and hatred and even bloodshed in the name of religion. The yawning distance between the hearts of men cannot be bridged without the realisation of Fatherhood of God and brotherhood of mankind, harmonising all tempers and temperaments. Juneja added that in addition to being a great spiritual personality, Baba Gurbachan Singh was a great social reformer as well.
