On the promise of marriage, a 20-year-old girl was sexually exploited for over a year in Ayodhya Nagar, according to a case of sexual assault lodged by the victim with the Ayodhya Nagar police station on Monday.
According to the police, the victim who works with a private company in Piplani met the accused Rajkumar at a temple. With an aim to befriend her, the youth assured the victim that he could help her in getting a good job in a reputed company and was successful in developing friendship with her in the next couple of days. The friendship soon turned into relationship and the accused started sexually exploiting her. Unaware of the ill-intentions of the accused the girl became the victim of his evil.
A couple of days back when the victim asked the accused to marry her, he refused and the dejected victim mustered courage and decided to file a case. She informed the whole incident to her family and on Monday the victim along with her family lodged a complaint with the Ayodhya Nagar police.
After the preliminary investigation the police booked the accused for the sexually assaulting the victim.
