With the help of different organizations and institutions, awareness campaigns should be conducted by counselors of Special Women Cell which would help victim women to reach special cell for help, said Additional Director General of Police Anvesh Manglam at review meeting of counselors of Special Woman Cell at main auditorium at State Police Headquarters on Friday.
The woman counselors from Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Sagar participated in the review meeting. In these five districts two Special Woman Cell in every district are functional with the help of Tata Consultancy of Social Science which help in legal aid, counseling, financial aid, rehabilitation and other kind of support to woman victims.
ADG Mangalam instructed AIG of the five districts to regularly monitor and review to make the functioning more effective. During the meeting the special cases and their effective resolution were discussed in detail by the Special Woman Cell.
