Awadhpuri police have arrested five accused who attacked a 22-year-old youth over old enmity, he was attacked with a sharp edged weapon.
Police arrested four other accused including the main accused who has been booked for crime in the past.
On January 5 near Axis Bank Chunnu alias Harsh Katheria and his four other accomplices attacked Suresh Uike with a sharp edged weapon and also tried to smash his head with stone.
The attack was fuelled over old enmity, Chunnu alias Harsh Katheriya came to victim and started to abuse alleging that victim molested his sister which he objected and but Chunnu took a sharp edged weapon and with the intention of killing in the back side over waist while his aides started to beat and stone pelted.
Awadhpuri police registered a case under section 294,323,307 and 34 of the IPC and took it into consideration.
After the incident, CCTV cameras present around the incident site were checked in which the accused were seen attacking with stones, belts and Harsh alias Chunnu was spotted stabbing and using the same weapon Dharmendra Bhuria stabbed the victim and all the attackers fled away from the spot.
Based on the details Chunnu alias Harsh was arrested from his house and in the investigation he revealed that Gaurav Gaurav,Arun Kunde,Tarun Verma and Summi alias Dharmendra Bhuria were among his aides who were caught in the investigation.
Main accused Chunnu has been booked for over half a dozen crimes and was booked by Govindpura, Piplani and Awadhpuri police. He has been booked for assault, threatening, attempt to murder and extortion.
