Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while paying tribute to the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said that he was an amazing politician full of humanity. He was a great orator and versatile personality. He was a crown of India in real sense.
Chouhan was addressing a gathering organised to pay tribute to the former Prime Minister at Motilal Nehru Stadium on Tuesday.
Remembering late Vajpayee, Chauhan narrated many memoirs. He said that Atal Ji can never leave us. He will always live in the hearts of crores of Indians. Mentioning the unique quality of Atal Ji's personality, Chouhan said that he was always attentive towards minor things. He was very warm-hearted. He has enhanced the respect for Hindi across the world. He said that the present generation would feel proud that it saw Atal Ji. It would be the real tribute to Atal Ji, if we try to become like him.
Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation, Uma Bharati said that late Atal Ji has a very important role in her life. He was merciful, generous and of humorous nature. He had a unique combination of sweet and fragrance. She had very emotional closeness with him. He had wide contacts with all and was like a Devdar tree of the Himalaya. Former Minister Suresh Pachori said that late Atal Ji's entire life was devoted to the country. Atal Ji was one among those who taught that there is no enmity in politics, just competition. Former MP Kailash Sarang said that late Atal Ji was Yug Purush. He set an ideal by not doing politics of manipulation.
Member of Parliament and State BJP Rakesh Singh said that late Atal ji made a place in the hearts of people, beyond the political limitations. He was the proud son of Madhya Pradesh’s soil, we are proud of it. He was an institution in fact. General Secretary of the BJP Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Atal Ji was a great personality and everybody likes him. He was very happy person. Deputy speaker in the legislative assembly, Rajendra Singh said that late Atal Ji delivered the message for love and harmony leaving aside the party line. He was a great person. Regional Bauddhik Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Vilasrao Bole said that late Atal Ji elevated the respect for the Rashtra Bhasha in the world. His departure is the departure of ascetic.
Socialist leader Raghu Thakur said that people are still recalling late Atal Ji after his life. He carved out three states during his tenure as the prime minister without any oppose. He used to win everybody's heart.
Member of Rajya Sabha and vice president of the BJP Prabhat Jha recalled the working of late Atal Ji as a journalist. Shailendra Shaili of the Community party of India said that late Atal Ji favoured ethis and democrative values in politics. He was the representative of human values.
