Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Girish Gautam presented awards to the winners of competitions organized by Pandit Kunjilal Dubey National Parliamentary School for the purpose of increasing parliamentary knowledge for school and college students at Mansarovar Auditorium of the State Assembly on Tuesday under the annual prize distribution ceremony.
On this occasion, State Home and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav, MLA Ashok Rohani, Principal Secretary of Assembly Secretariat A.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor of Bhoj Mukt University Sanjay Tiwari, Director of Parliamentary School Pratibha Yadav were present.
Gautam said that all the subjects selected for the competition among the students were very important and relevant. Through such events, the youth get to know about the parliamentary procedure and traditions of their country.
Nation does not mean only a piece of land, it is the sum total of the culture of the people living there, their thinking tradition, their knowledge and philosophy, which together is called a nation, which is our nation India.
He said that the new education policy has been implemented across the country today. The aim of the new education policy is not just to provide bookish knowledge, its aim is to make the future generation all round.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of 66th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Bhimrao Ambedkar today, the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretariat union of staff paid tributes to BR Ambedkar, statue was garlanded.
On the occasion Principal Secretary A.P. Singh, Secretary Shishirkant Choubey, Additional Secretary B.D. Singh, Staff Officer Harish Shriwas, Secretary of Vidhansabha SC-ST Union Rajendra Verma and many other office officers and employees were present in large numbers.
PS Singh said that the entire governance system is running according to the constitution given by Dr. Ambedkar and our Legislative Assembly and Judiciary are also running smoothly accordingly. Arrangements have been given in the constitution for each class.
He said that Baba Saheb has given us We have given some rights, along with that some duties have also been told for us, we have to fulfill those duties with full honesty.
