Three persons, including an Assistant Sub Inspector, his son and a tantrik were involved in the brutal murder of a 21-year old whose body was found at Bhojpura trisection.

The reason behind the murder was that the victim was engaged in illicit relationship with the daughter-in-law of the main accused.

While speaking with the media persons on Friday, Superintendent of Bhopal Bhopal (North) Arvind Saxena said that the deceased Ankit Chourasia used to work as driver for the main accused Mohan Prasad Saxena posted as ASI in Shajapur district. Ankit had developed illicit relationship with the daughter-in-law of the police officer.

When the ASI came to know about the illicit relationship, he sacked Ankit from job but even after removal from job he maintained the relationship which annoyed Saxena and later he planned to eliminate Ankit with the help of his son Nitin and a tantrik Sanju Baba alias Sanjay Vyas.

On January 16, Sanju accompanied Ankit near Bhojapura trisection and Mohan and Nitin followed them and Nitin attacked Ankit with an iron rod in his head and when he tried to escape Mohan threw chili powder in his eyes and then Sanju hit him with a stone and escaped the spot, said SP Arvind Saxena.

During the investigation police traced the owner of the car Nirmala Gaur who told the police that Ankit used to work as driver for her and later in the investigation it was found that Ankit was last seen with Sanju Baba.

Mohan suffered a paralytic attack and Sanju Baba was treating him during which he asked Sanju to help him.

Ankit was also in contact with Sanju which helped Sanju to take him to the spot where he was killed.

Notably on January 17 deceased was found in injured state and died while on his to hospital. The iron rod and stone used in the murder were recovered during the investigation.
