Bahujan Samaj Party has made a big change in the state organisation. In view of the assembly elections going to be held this year, former Rajya Sabha member Dr. Ashok Siddharth was made in-charge of the state along with state in-charge Ramji Gautam. The areas between the two were also fixed.

Dr. Siddharth remained on this responsibility for almost a month. The national leadership has now removed him. Now the already in-charge and Rajya Sabha member Ramji Gautam alone will have the charge of the entire state. Ashok Siddhartha has been made in-charge of Karnataka.

Party officials say that assembly elections are to be held in Karnataka in April-May this year.

Dr. Siddharth has been in charge in Karnataka for about 10 years. Hence he has been brought back to Karnataka.
