The art aficionados of the city will be experiencing a wonderful artistic world to be displayed at Rangdarshini Art Gallery, Bharat Bhavan. A group exhibition ‘Art Illusion’ showcasing painting, photographs, installation and sculptures altogether under one roof will be put up here from Wednesday. Organised by Art 20-20 group of contemporary artists, Bhopal, the exhibition would be on display till Sunday.
The artists from across the nation have participated in the exhibition. Even the non-professional artists are a part of this exhibition. While talking about the exhibition Coordinator of ART 20-20 Himanshu Joshi said, “The main purpose of organizing such shows is to provide a platform to those artists who take their talent as a hobby. But, here we give them a stage to display their work.”
He further said, “We began this group in the year 2010 with only seven members belonging to contemporary art but, now there are about 47 members from across the nation.” While expressing his content further, he said, “Earlier we have organised similar shows in the city and in places like Delhi, Mumbai and Calcutta.”
On asking about organising a show on International level Himanshu said, “Of course, we will organise a show on an international level soon.” The exhibition will be a mass treat for art lovers, as they could find almost all kind of art forms in a single show at the gallery. There will be a unique touch of art at this exhibition as painters, photographers and even ceramists have added vibrant colours to their creations.
