Army Public School, Mhow registered its spectacular win in the Inter Army Public School, National level AWES Hindi Debate Competition, held at APS, lucknow on October 17, 2017.
The preliminary Cluster level round was held at Allahabad in which the school qualified for the Command level which was held at Jabalpur.
Representing Central Command, Ayush Chaturvedi (Speaker for the Motion] of Class XI, SuhaniIyer (Speaker against the Motion] of Class IX and Aryan [Interjector) of Class X bagged First Position and brought laurels to the School at National level. Ayush Chaturvedi and SuhaniIyer were adjudged as the Best speakers for and against the motion and Army Public School Mhowbagged the rare honour of the ‘Overall Winner’. A total of 6 teams from various Commands from across the country participated in a battle of verbal wit and expressed their views on the topic ‘Growing Scientific Technology is the Beginning of a New Dangerous Era for us’.
The Chief of Staff, Central Command lt Gen JP Sharma handed over the coveted Overall Trophy and Cash Prize of Rs 30,000 to the School, individual cash prizes of Rs 2,000 each to the Speakers.
On return, the achievers were felicitated by the Patron lt Gen Rajeev Sabherwal, VSM Commandant, MCTE, Chairman Brig Sheode P Manohar and the Executive Officer Col John Prince for creating history at the National level and for showcasing amazing performance and Great Spirit.
The Principal PK Tiwari and Vice Principal SK Choudhary eulogised the achievers for their consecutive and splendid success at the National level.
The Principal complimented their mentor Pramod Srivas for his expert guidance and the Staff for their unstinting support.
