A solo painting exhibition of a young artist, Archana Pare, 'Sanskriti' is on display at Rangdarshini Gallery, Bharat Bhavan. The exhibition began on Tuesday receiving an overwhelming response from the visitors.
The vibrant colours, enchantment of shades, the spirals and the geometrical shapes carved together over the canvas are the centre-point of attraction of Archana's paintings and the rest the paintings say it all.
Archana says, "I think of art as the special human voice or language we call upon when communicating in ordinary ways seems insufficient or incapable of conveying our convictions and inner reflections. Art is our humanness speaking in ways that convey or evoke how we see ourselves and our world." Elaborating further she said, "Through these paintings I wanted to bring out my inner perceptions and display them before the spectators."
She has wonderfully worked on Madhubani art, ceramic and clay paintings which appear to be as 3D paintings and look more appealing to the eyes. Archana's main motive to display this exhibition was to bring out something new in the traditional art forms which are practiced in the country since decades and she has wonderfully did it.
While elaborating about her exhibition, she says, "I have given name to this exhibition as Sanskriti as I have worked on almost all the traditional forms of paintings which are popular in our country. But I have also added my twist to them which would be loved by the viewers," she added.
There was exposure to different vibrant colours presented in her works. The spectators were surrounded with a different world of art as they walked through the gallery. Finding spell-bound with the art works displayed, the spectators appreciated each creative work. Art work in acrylic paints are much appreciated by the art lovers of the city.
More than 40 painting works are on display at the gallery. The exhibition would continue till May 18.
