The Sayaji is organising food fest at Kebasville. This 10-day Arabic Food Festival will be organised from April 17. The guests can enjoy special treat in this festival alongwith outstanding presentation.
While talking to mediapersons on Thursday, Chef Najim from Indore branch of the Sayaji hotel told that the Arabic cuisine dates back to the age-old traditional food from the Far East regions of Arab, Egypt & relating regions. There staple food includes the wide use of Meat, Dates, Yoghurt, etc.
Essential to any cooking in the Arabian Peninsula is the concept of hospitality and generosity. There are many regional differences in Arab cuisine. For instance, mujaddara in Syria and lebanon is different from mujaddara in Jordan and Palestine. Some dishes, such as mansaf (the national dish of Jordan), are native to certain countries and rarely, if ever, make an appearance in other countries, he added.
Business Manager of Sayaji’s unit Kallol Mukherjee said that on each and every table, there will be prefix menu. Sumptous live grill and starters will accompany main course and desserts on the buffet. “The Arabian food fest Chef Najim’s cooking is always liked by our guests, he also said there will be balance between veg and non-veg dishes. We have specially planned cyclic menu with changes in dishes every day. In this festival, dancer from Abu Dhabi has been invited for live dance performance apart from regular singers. The staff will be in traditional Arabic dress in this fest,” he added.
