The Bhopalites are witnessing back-to-back melodious Kishore Kumar Nights to observe his 85th birth anniversary. A Kishore Kumar Night was organised here on Tuesday at Ravindra Bhawan by Kishore Kumar Smriti Samiti, Bhopal.
While talking to The Pioneer, founder of the group and organiser Praveen Kashyap said, “This is our 26th show in the memory of the legendary playback singer. I have formed this group in his memory and we basically organise events on his birth and death anniversary.”
The concert was enjoyed by the audiences, who took the pleasure to go back in the old times. The concert began with the song Bachna ae haseeno. The programme was then followed with the songs like Jalta hai jiya, O sathi re, Pag ghunghroo, Bhigi palko pe, Janeman Janeman, Phoolo ka and many more. There were about 25 songs presented at the concert. The programme was further followed by remembering Kishore Kumar. The event became more interesting when a fact was disclosed to the audience about Kumar before and after each song.
The programme was further followed by Gaata Rahe Mera Dil, Chaltey Hain, Daakiya Daak laya, Ager Tum Na Hotey and Jo Raha Chuni and many more.
