A protesting contractual employee died of cardiac arrest at Ambedkar ground during fourth day of the protest by contractual and outsources employees of power distribution companies’ protest demanding regularization on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Ramnarayan Dixit was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. The deceased came from Gwalior to support the protest.The condition of the protesting contractual employees is deteriorating in the hot weather conditions but still government is willing to pay heed to their demands.
State President of Madhya Pradesh Contractual Employee Official Federation Ramesh Rathod and Convener of United Forum VKS Parihar said that the BJP’s manifesto for state assembly election 2013 had regularization of contractual employees but the party failed to keep its promise. After forming government employees were fired and recruitment was out sourced and later these outsourced employees were also fire.
