After a major administrative surgery in the State, another reshuffle of senior administrative officials is expected in a couple of weeks. They would include Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, heads of departments and CEOs of district panchayats.
Official sources said that a fresh reshuffle is essential as in the list of IAS officers' transfer on Thursday night there had been a few places where new postings had not been decided. In the vacant places, new officers would be posted.
In the list declared on Thursday night, most of the field officers were changed, but the officials posted in Mantralaya were not touched. This also suggested that another list of IAS officers would come soon.
Besides, sources said that a small reshuffle would also take place for accommodating a senior IAS officer, who was on deputation in New Delhi.
He has received NOC from the Central government and thus he would arrive here next week. He is likely to get new responsibility as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister's Secretariat.
Since there is a long list of officials who are posted with one department in Mantralaya for over three years and thus they would be included in the next reshuffle.
The probable names who would be included in the reshuffle are Principal Secretary in PWD KK Singh, Principal Secretary in Water Resources RS Julania, Principal Secretary in Energy Mohd Sulaiman and Principal Secretary in Woman and Child Development (WCD) BR Naidu. Other probable names include CEO Jaideep Govind, PS in Tribal Welfare PC Meena, PS in Personnel Ashwini Rai and PS in Sports and Youth Welfare Mohan Rao.
Meanwhile, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister SK Mishra, who was shouldered with additional responsibility of Commissioner in Public Relations department, assumed office on Friday.
