The college students of Anand Vihar Polytechnic Women’s College went entirely gaga, when the Bollywood characters performed a ramp walk.
It was the third day of Ujaas 2017, the annual fest of Anand Vihar Polytechnic Women’s College on Thursday. The students were equally excited for the show as the first day.
Observing the mega event, the students enthusiastically participated in all the competitions that were held on Thursday. It is to be noted that each day different contests are being held under Ujaas 2017 to enhance the co-curricular activities of the students.
Apart from other competitions, the major captivation of the event was highly unique fashion show. It was a theme based fashion show. The theme was ‘Bollywood Characters’. Some students dressed as Zeenat Aman and some as Neetu Singh. There was a glimpse of ‘Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua Hai’ famous couple Raj Kapoor and Nargis and on the other hand there was a student dressed as Bajirao Mastani’s Deepika Padukone.
The students with much confidence walked over the ramp along with the special props of each character. The fashion show was much enjoyed not only by the audience but also by the participants, as the creativity of the students enthralled the audience and judges.
The first prize was bagged by Deeksha Rohit. The second and third prize was won by Divya Rohit and Karuna Vishwakarma respectively.
Observing the third day two more competitions were held at the college. Tol Mol Ke Bol was one contest where the students in group of four discussed about the social and economic issues.
