Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has directed for transfer of Amrai Basti near AIIMS in ward 53 from Housing Board to Municipal Corporation.
Officers of both the departments agreed that no hindrance is left in transfer of Basti and this will be done soon.
Gaur chaired a meeting to review Bhopal city’s development at his residence here on Friday where Mayor Krishna Gaur, Commissioner Housing Board Dhananjay Singh, Secretary Transport Renu Tiwari, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Vishesh Garhpale, SP Shashikant Shukla, officers of various departments, coroprators TR Mishra, laxmi Thakur, Barelal, Raghunandan Singh Rajput and local citizens were present. Gaur directed for transfer of Amrai Basti near AIIMS for permanent solution to sewage and other problems.
BHEl administration was informed that district administration, CPA and BDA are extending whatever cooperation is to be extended and BHEl administration should make no delay now.
It was informed about beautification work from Chetak Bridge to Kasturba Nagar crossing that BHEl has been handed over a design by MANIT’s transport specialist engineer Prof Rokade.
BHEl Administration officers informed that this work will be started soon and Chetak Bridge and all crossings on JK Road will be developed. Tenders have been invited for asphaltation of all roads in BHEl township.
The meeting reviewed various development works being made by CPA, BDA and Municipal Corporation. Gaur directed to complete works in time in view of people’s
inconvenience.
During the visit, he has observed that apart form inconvenience, people’s resentment against government also increases due to non-redressal of problems.
He said that all departments should discharge their responsibilities in time.
