Urging the Centre to initiate prompt and 'result-oriented' steps in the incident of questioning of Uttar Pradesh Minister and senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan at the logan International Airport in Boston, BJP Vice-President Uma Bharti on Sunday said that all Muslims are not terrorists.
"Khan is the senior most leader who represents country's largest state and went to the United States at the invitation of an renowned educational institution of that country. The incident is nothing but an insult to all Indians," the former chief minister said in a statement here. Bharti, who is an MlA of Uttar Pradesh legislative Assembly, said that all parties cutting across their political affiliations should condemn the incident and also consider it as an attack on the country's self-respect.
