All India women conference 2019 under the auspices of all India Malayalee Association MP Chapter held here on Sunday at Hotel Palash Residency. Women delegates from more than 20 states and union territories have participated in this event.
Various subject and topics like women for empowerment, child abuse, self help group, women health, international women’s day, safety and protection of women, mind management session etc were taken up. There was an interactive session as well.
In the inaugural function in the evening was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Culture and Medical Education Dr.Vijaylaxmi Sadho, guest of Hon’ble PR Minister Shri. P.C Sharma, Shri. Gokulam, National President All India Malayalee Association were present on the occasion.
Various culture programs like classical dance by Kalanjali and Natyashri group and orchestra by Kochu Babu and group. Dr Sarla Menon, Medical Director, JK Hospital, Bhopal, PN Sreekumar. National General Secretary, RS Pillai, Sr Vice- President, AIMA.
Minister of Culture and Medical Education Vijaylaxmi Sadho said, "It is my pleasure that I could be a part of the association's celebrations. It is one of the biggest associations in the country and doing great service to the society. I wish them all best for their future endeavour."
Gokulam Gopalan, National President, AIMA said, "We are happy that we are celebrating our first national womens' conference and award 2019 in Bhopal. I am very happy that members from different regions could take time off their schedule and ensure their presence for the celebration. I thank one and all for their participation and support.”
