Peshwai of Shri Panchayati Bada Udasin Akhada was taken out on a grand scale from Shivaji Park at Ujjain on Wednesday. Glimpses of religion, spiritualism and Indian culture were seen in Peshwai. Minister in-charge of Ujjain district Bhupendra Singh, State Congress president Arun Yadav and other public representatives met and sought blessings of Mahamandaleshwars and Mahants while attending Peshwai at Alakh Mehar Dham.
Devotees were enchanted by 25 attractive tableaux in Peshwai. Thousands of devotees on either side of the road showered flower petals on saints and seers of Udaseen sect. After passing through Sant Nagar, Sindhi Colony, Tower Chowk, Chamunda Mata Chauraha, Dewas Gate, Malipura, Fawwara Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazar, Har Siddhi and Siddhasen road, Peshwai reached Nadi Darwaza.
Call centre in Simhastha Mela Office is functioning round-the-clock. Facility of simultaneous 25 calls has been given at the call centre. Call centre number 1100 can be dialed from mobile or landline phone. All important Simhastha-related information including Zone, Sector, departmental offices, phone numbers of who is who and information about hotels, Dharmshalas, famous places are being provided by the call centre.
Meanwhile, Peshwai of Agni Akhada was taken out lord Mahakal's city Ujjain on the banks of river Kshipra today. School Education Minister Jain greeted saints and seers with garlands. Before start of Peshwai, Jain sought blessings of Anuvrat Muni Suresh Kumar Ji Harnawan in Pandal of Anuvrat Mahasamiti in Dutt Akhada Zone. He said that every task is done excellently if one's self-confidence is high.
The Minister said that unity and diversity will be visible during Simhastha. He hoped that followers of all sects will participate in Simhastha with mutual harmony.
During Simhastha-2016, AYUSH Department is making available treatment to saints, seers and devotees round-the-clock through its 13 Ayurvedic dispensaries, 2 homoeopathic and one Unani medicine system's hospital. Mobile units are also functioning at 4 points in Mela area. Treatment through Panchkarm and Ksharshool is being provided in Mangalnath, Dutt Akhada, Kal Bhairav and Mahakal zones.
In view of Simhastha-2016, Ujjain Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Pastor has prohibited leaves by officers and employees in all districts of Ujjain division till May 31. He has issued directives regarding this to all district collectors.
