Ajay Singh's Facebook accounts deactivated

Published on:

Two Facebook accounts being used in the name of leader of Opposition Ajay Singh by his fans were deactivated on Thursday after they were found to be filled with derogatory remarks against State BJP chief Narendra Singh Tomar.

The accounts — Ajay Singh (Rahul Bhaiya) and Ajay Singh Rahul Sena — were created in the name of leader of Opposition a couple of months back by his fans.  This was evident that in both the pages, day to day happenings of the Congress were posted along with photographs. In the first page, even the Press communiqués issued by Ajay Singh's office were also posted regularly.

last week, after State BJP chief Tomar issued a Press statement with derogatory remarks against Ajay’s family members, somebody posted a similar kind of material narrating the story of Tomar. In this story, derogatory comments were made against Tomar and his father.

In the post updated on June 18, it was also pointed out that the story would be continued.

However, when this post came to Ajay's knowledge, he took it seriously and asked his subordinates to take stern action against whoever operating these pages. Surprisingly, within few minutes, these pages stopped functioning. While talking to The Pioneer, Singh clarified that he didn’t own a Facebook account, which was entirely different and not connected with his website. He expressed ignorance about such pages created with his name on the social networking site.
