Ajay Singh demands apology from Babulal

Criticising the remark of State’s Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur allegedly made against the Sindhi community leader of opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh demanded on Thursday that Gaur should tender apologies for his comment.

The way Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has behaved towards citizens demanding for justice and rights is not only inhuman but also objectionable. “The BJP Government is not going to decide who will live and who will not live in this state. All the constitutional rights that are available to other citizens of the state are equally available to the Sindhi migrants,” he said.

The BJP Government is not obliging the Sindhi community by providing any facility or any right, Singh said demanding apology from the minister. In a different development, the opposition leader strongly criticized the BJP government for the attack of mining mafia on government officials in Morena. Singh alleged that mining mafia, scamsters and criminals are being openly protected by the chief minister due to which they are acting with impunity.

“There have been three big and numerous small incidents involving the mining mafia in Morena itself. The mafia did not relent even after killing the IPS (Indian Police Officer) Narendra Prasad because they have full protection of the government. It is due to this that the mafia could attack the police and get away with sand seized by it,” he said.

He further said that the BJP Government has become silent spectator of mafia attacks on government officers and police because it is dependent on the money provided by these elements to win in the elections.
