Praising the straightforwardness of Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya, Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh said that Malaiya from BJP is true well wisher of the people who claimed that after having emptied the treasury only announcement machine could make announcement and not him.

When the BJP came to power, Madhya Pradesh owned a debt of Rs 23000 crore which has inflated to Rs 1.68 lakh crores now. The government along with this debt and other debts had paid interest of over Rs 47000 crore which is twice of the debt over government when Congress was in power.

Ajay Singh alleged that Shivraj led BJP government is enjoying from the money taken as debt leaving the state to suffer.

CM Chouhan has made 21000 announcements and in the year 2017 during Vikas Yatra he made 6900 announcements in districts and 6379 announcements at state assembly constituency areas and out of these more than 13000 announcements only 386 were fulfilled.

For fulfilling these announcements investment of more than Rs 20000 crores would be required which the government does not have but CM Chouhan continues to decide and announce announcements having financial burden.
