Cyber Crime sleuths have nabbed Ajay Sharma for his involvement in a fraud nexus operated from Gurgaon by providing data of unemployed people registered at shine.com; accused used to work as deputy manager (sales) at shine.com.
The accused Ajay Sharma used to provide access to the accused through fake company Glasssdoor and would take Rs 10000 from the accused. He would also take Rs 10000, copy of PAN card and signature on a form.
Notably Ajay used to help the accused who were held for cheating several victims in the name of providing jobs and placements using a fake job website.
During the investigation when the accused was quizzed he confessed that Glassdoor Company was registered and which used to provide data of unemployed people to the fake call centers operating from Noida.
The nabbed accused used to provide data of unemployed people. He used to operate for Glassdoor services.
The matter came to fore after victim Rajat Sharma of Awadhpuri lodged a complaint that the placement service company shine.com had duped Rs 32500 in the name of facilitating a job.
Based on the complaint in the investigation, it was found that the accused used to work for the nexus of fraudsters who used to cheat unemployed people in the name of facilitating jobs.
Other accused who were involved in operating the nexus were Rahul Sharma, Vinay Singh alias Bittu, Kishanpal alias Fauji alias Prashant Gupta, Avinash Singh and Ankit Soniwal. The accused were nabbed in the investigation except Avinash and Ankit.
