Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy's player Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar gave a wondrous performance at 12th Asian Air Gun Championship 2019. She bagged a gold medal and a bronze medal in the 10-metre air rifle junior team event for the country.
It is to be noted that Aishwarya represented the Indian Team at the championship played at Taipei. The championship is being played from March 25 till April 2.
Apart from Aishwarya Pratap Singh in the team event, only Prajapati and Yashvardhan of Gujarat were included. For this achievement earned by Aishwarya Pratap Singh, he has been appointed as Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen has congratulated and appreciated excellent performance.
Aishwarya Pratap Singh is receiving the training of shooting by the Chief Instructor of the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy Suma Shirur, the instructor Sunita Lakhan and Vaibhav Sharma.
Meanwhile, the State Sports and Welfare Department have invited nominations for Eklavya Award by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Vikram Award, Vishwamitra Award, Life Time Achievement for the year 2019. Online application forms have been invited for Prabhash Joshi Sports Awards.
This application can be done from April 1 till 15 May. Applications received after the scheduled deadline of May 15 will not be considered.
In this regard, Director Sports and Youth Welfare S.L. Thoussen has been instructed to send the letter to all the divisional and district sports and youth welfare officers of the state and take necessary action.
Online application by applicants is to be made on mis.dsywmp.gov.in/anudan or dsywmp.gov.in departmental website, in which the information of the applicant's personal and sports achievements will be addressed.
Thereafter, the receipt of online application will be generated, with the print out, the applicant will have to attach the photocopy of the certificates of the game achievements mentioned in the application and submit it to the concerned Divisional Sports and Youth Welfare Office or Directorate. The officials have been told that they should ensure that the application of online application receipt is received only when the copy of the generated receipt is attached.
