Taking significant measures to ensure excellent network and service in Ujjain during Simhastha, the Airtel has partnered with the Mela authorities for enabling them to host a clean, safe and pleasant Simhastha 2016.

Considering the need of seamless and consistent connectivity during the Mela, Airtel has ensured that the capacities of all the existing 72 towers in the city of Ujjain is improved and upgraded.

The existing infrastructure will be supported a robust network of 26 coverage on wheels (COW) towers.

These COW towers are strategically parked to cater to the additional network needs of the core Mela areas and Ghats. The arrangements have been done to ensure round the clock best-in-class connectivity, even during peak hours and on the days of the Shahi Snan.

With a large congregation such as Simhastha, the surge in the demand for voice, internet and roaming recharges, along with customer services, is understandable.

The existing setup of more than 500 highly visible retail outlets has been geared up to cater to this need.

Airtel has further augmented its retail presence by tying up with hundreds of local entrepreneurs and outlets, making the availability of recharge vouchers even more convenient.

This arrangement of outlets, will be joined by an army of more than 50 field sales executives, who would keep moving in and around the Akharas, Ashrams and Ghatsto make sure that the recharge vouchers are always available at an arm’s length to the pilgrims.

Airtel’s customer services will continue to delight users through 2 exclusive company stores, 50 specially decked up Airtel Sahayta Kendra in the city and 130 all around the district of Ujjain.
