Services of air taxi will soon Start for tourists in the State. Agreement was signed between State Tourism Development Corporation and Prabhatam Aviation Pvt ltd today. Corporation as managing director transport BK Bharati and director of Prabhatam Aviation Mayank Gupta signed the agreement.
Minister of state for tourism (independent charge) Surendra Patwa on the occasion said that all formalities will be completed in next three months to start services of air taxi. It will promote tourism in the state and provide better facility to tourists.
Corporation Chairman Tapan Bhaumik said that the state obtained many achievements in tourism sector. The state received the best state award in tourism sector. Shri Bhaumik assured that Madhya Pradesh will make a place at international level in tourism.
In order to provide air connectivity to the state, M/s Prabhatam Aviation Pvt ltd was selected through open bid for services in and outside the state under tourism policy 2014. The selection was made through process in which bids were opened in a committee constituted under chairmanship of principal secretary, finance. Secretary to chief minister and managing director of Tourism Development Corporation Hariranjan Rao and company secretary Sandesh Yashlah were present.
