President of India Draupadi Murmu launched the Ayushman Bhav Scheme on 13th September throughout the country.
Under this scheme, the general awareness campaigns are launched through Ayushman melas, Ayushman sabhas and medical camps to generate public awareness about health issues and the various health schemes. Medical Social Welfare Unit, AIIMS, Bhopal under the patronage of the Executive Director Prof (Dr) Ajai Singh, organized an awareness campaign for patients and their families in the OPD area of the AIIMS Hospital.
During the campaign, information about the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, digital health mission, OPD registration, hospital signages, was conveyed to the patients and their attendants through demonstrations and role plays. Awareness was also generated about benefits of voluntary blood donations to save precious lives through banners and role plays to motivate people for voluntary blood donation.
