AIIMS Bhopal participated in the three-day event titled "Science Fiesta 2023", which is being organized by the Regional Science Centre Bhopal from January 10 to 12, 2023. The faculty members and residents of AIIMS Bhopal put up a stall for live demonstration of essential healthcare skills that should be known to every citizen.
The demonstration included sessions on first aid for common injuries using easily available items, monitoring cardiorespiratory parameters in a healthy Indian adult and basic life support to be given to a patient before reaching the hospital.
The stall was equipped with state-of-art instruments and mannequins required for the hands-on live demonstrations.
The stall was visited by a huge number of enthusiastic school students who enjoyed getting exposed to these important medical techniques.
