On the occasion of World Radiology Day, AIIMS Bhopal came together to celebrate the invaluable contributions of radiology in healthcare. The event, jointly organized by the Department of Radiation Oncology and Radio diagnosis, was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal as the chief guest.
Prof. (Dr). Ajai Singh, paid homage to Sir C V Raman's pioneering work in the field of radiology and unveiled a portrait of the renowned physicist Sir C V Raman. Oncology block and Cancer Treatment Center of AIIMS, Bhopal is named after the Nobel Laureate Dr. C V Raman.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh emphasized the significance of X-Rays in cancer treatment and underscored the importance of cancer screening as a vital tool in cancer prevention. These speeches aimed to raise awareness and help patients better understand the pivotal role that radiology plays in their healthcare journey.
As a special treat for the audience, a short skit was performed by senior members and dedicated staff, shedding light on the day-to-day operations and challenges faced in radiology departments.
