AICC general secy: Erratic behaviour not OK in party

AICC general secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Dipak Babaria here during a meeting of the party organisation conveyed a stern message on indiscipline clarifying erratic behaviour would not be tolerated in the party.

He also pulled up the party workers raising slogans in favour of Chief Minister Kamal Nath also present on the occasion.

The state in charge also came down heavily on those ministers who were speaking against party leaders making it amply clear indiscipline won’t be tolerated at any cost.

The party leaders and workers who had gathered at MPCC office in Bhopal for a symposium on economic slowdown on Friday had some harsh lessons on discipline from Babaria.

Babaria’s remarks came close on the heels of a strong rap for party leaders from the party high command which had taken a string note of state leaders openly bashing each other on one issue or the other and even did not spare senior leaders.

Meanwhile, during the meeting on Friday at PCC, some party leaders and workers had started raising slogans in favour of CM Kamal Nath. This enraged Babaria who went on to claim that it was party meeting not fit to raising slogans.

The leader also conveyed a message on discipline aloud. If found guilty, none would be spared, he claimed.

He stated that party senior leaders offer statements with seriousness and those opposing them or speaking against the state government won’t be forgiven.

Notably, Babaria’s statement came a day after MLA Laxman Singh, brother of Digvijay Singh had on Thursday said that Rahul Gandhi should not have promised farm loan waiver entailing huge cost and even said the party should apologise to farmers for non-fulfilment of the promise.
