Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former president of the minority cell, Tanveer Ahmed said that BJP is such a special political party where a worker starts from the grass-roots level and reaches the sky.

Ahmed while addressing the State executive of the BJP – Minority cell on Tuesday at party’s State headquarters in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya campus, said, “The acceptability of the BJP has increased at a fast pace in the country because it is a worker-based party. Minority community’s faith has also increased in the BJP. The compatibility, which minority communities enjoy in Madhya Pradesh cannot be matched with any other State of the country.”

Ahmed further said that this being the reason, the mega membership drive of the party is getting enormous support in the minority concentrated colonies. The success of the mega membership drive in the minority colonies is a proof that bridge of belief between party and  minority communities is strengthening day by day, he added.

Minority cell State president Hidayatullah Sheikh said, “I assure the party leadership that the target of 10 lakh new members assigned to us would not only be met with ease, but we would create a record by making maximum members among the various cells of the party.”

Minority cell in-charge Vijendra Sisodiya reviewed district wise progress of the mega membership drive. He lauded the Morcha that the mega membership drive’s account has been opened in the minority colonies with a bang and ‘chai chopals’ have been started in them. The membership drive has become a subject of talk in every house, he added.

Minorities’ welfare minister of the State Antar Singh Arya said that the State Government has provided equal justice and equal opportunities for all sections of the society. Welfare schemes have been implemented for every community and class in the State, he added.
