Aggrieved man climbs atop Assembly entrance

In a high voltage drama in the high security zone of the State Capital, at the entrance of MP Assembly, a man apparently upset by forceful plantation on his land climbed a tree with some documents in his hands.

The drama continued for around 45 minutes, when the police officials succeeded in convincing him and brought him down from the tree.

As the MP assembly concluded its proceedings on the second day of Monsoon Session, a gathering outside one of the entrances of State assembly premises, alerted the cops deployed outside the premises. As they reached the spot, found a man looking like a villager climbed a tree.

He was crying profusely and was carrying some papers in hands. With his worn out and torn clothes, he looked extremely poor.  Police officers atop a fire tender kept persuading him to come down safely. All they can understand was his name was Dhanraj and he had some issue with his land.

The cops asked him to drop his papers so that his problems could be understood but he did not listen.

The man came down twice slightly only to catch hold of lower branches firmly.

As a fire tender brought closer to the tree, he finally agreed to come down.

As police tried to whisk him away from the scene, the man told media persons that he is a native of Silwani in Raisen district and government officers had forcefully carried out plantation on his farm land.

He tried forwarding his plight at various government offices but no one listened.

He finally decided to climb the tree to underline his plight. Though the man came down safely, this incident exposed the security at high-security zone around assembly.
