During the interrogation, Santo revealed to the police that she wanted to kill her brother-in-law after killing her husband because he eyed her. According to information, Santo w/o Suresh Goswami living near Roxy Bridge was serving in Kamla Raja hospital as peon. Fed up with the drinking habit and gambling and above all, beating her mercilessly, she killed her husband for saving herself.
She hid the incident and succeeded in doing so but after the death of her husband, her brother-in-law started eyeing her. Santo was fed up with immoral activities of her brother-in-law and planned to kill him. Santo revealed the fact of death of her husband Suresh Goswami to her mother and told her that she wanted to tell everything to the police but her mother was so afraid that she fled to Jhansi. After that, she reached the police station and revealed everything there.
Addl SP City Dinesh Kaushal said that the body of Suresh has been recovered in a drum buried underground. The police are investigating the case to know whether somebody helped the woman in the crime. The police has sent the body of Suresh for post-mortem. After the post-mortem, the police will be able to get some other clue.
