The advocates in district court beat up a client after an advocate was attacked over fee at the district court premises on Thursday. later, the client and advocates created ruckus at the MP Nagar police station premises.
Station House Officer MP Nagar police Brajesh Bhargava said that the fight was over the issue of fee demand raised by advocate Javed Khan with Rizwan Khan, who had reached at the district court along with his sister at the court premises in the afternoon.
During the fight, Javed sustained head injuries and in reaction to the attack and a group of advocates beat up Rizwan and later, a complaint was lodged by them, he added.
The accused works as an auto-rickshaw driver and had gone to district court on Thursday and after reaching the premises, he contacted Javed for drafting an application, but after the application was drafted Javed and Rizwan had a fight over the fee demanded by the victim, which soon turned ugly in which Javed was attacked by the accused and was injured in his head.
As soon as the information of attack and injury spread in the court premises, advocates started gathering and later, attacked Rizwan.
later, the advocates lodged a complaint with the MP Nagar police and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
