Former Deputy Prime Minister and senior BJP leader lK Advani will inaugurate the ‘Atal Jyoti Yojna’ in Shahdol on Saturday. Under this ambitious scheme, the State Government aims to provide 24-hour uninterrupted electricity in Shahdol district.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State president and parliamentarian Narendra Singh Tomar and other senior party functionaries will be present.
Advani will reach Jabalpur by a special plane at around 11.30 am. From there, he will go to Shahdol by helicopter. After inaugurating the scheme at 1 pm, Advani will return Jabalpur and take his flight back to Delhi by 3.45 pm.
