Advanced training course for BHEl executives held

An advanced training course on ‘State of the art Dynamic Balancing of Rotating machines’ for executives working in thermal, hydro and motors areas was organised on Friday at Human Resource Development Centre BHEl, Bhopal.

An expert team of lN Rai and RP Nigam were present as the faculty on the occasion. They have more than 35 years of experience and have done balancing in more than 350 sites of thermal, hydro and motors.

The programme was inaugurated by Brajesh Agrawal, AGM (HRD) who stressed that these types of technical programmes are necessary to provide an upper hand to BHEl in an environment having cut-throat competition. Even large industries cannot afford to have vibration experts which BHEl is having in-house.

Dynamic balancing helps to reduce noise, reduces energy losses, increases the life of bearings and improves the brand image of the company.  Deepak Makhija, Sr DGM (HRD) and Vijay Bhalla were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, BHEl, Bhopal has successfully completed the ISO 9001: 2015 Transition Course with BVCI, faculty MS Gaur and Ravindra Kumar the other day at Human Resource Development Centre BHEl, Bhopal. On this occasion TG Chauragade, General Manager (WE, CS & HR), was present as the Chief Guest. Around 20 participants from Bhopal and various sister unit/sites of BHEl attended the programme.

Chouragade in his address educated the gathering about the importance of risk management and making alternate plans to mitigate risks. At present effective risk handling has become very important to face the spells of the challenging environment.

Speaking on the occasion Brajesh Agrawal, AGM (HRD), said that the transition course will enable the ISO 9001-2008 lead Auditors to graduate into ISO 9001-2015 lead Auditors with reduced time since they already have 2008 auditor training and have experience in the field. It will enable BHEl to be abreast with the time. BHEl is among the pioneers to have successfully completed the transition course.
