Showcasing different types of tough weddings along with the uncommon hidden challenges wedding planners go through, &TV is all set to launch a brand new show ‘Naye Shaadi Ki Siyape’, a light-hearted and rib-tickling dramedy based on the premises of difficult Indian weddings with a hysterical twist.
The show will feature Shahbaz Khan portraying the role of Mubarak Khan, who with a wounded past takes upon himself to mend the hearts of lovelorn couples by forming a wedding troupe in consort with Vipul Roy aka Bunty and Neha Bagga aka Babli.
Talking about his first comic role, seasoned actor Shabaz Khan said “Undoubtedly wedding festivities involves loads of fun and frolic but with it also comes a lot of Siyapas, especially when it comes to planning one. This is my ever-light-hearted show wherein I play the character of a wedding planner who takes it upon himself to accomplish impossible weddings in more ways than one. Clearly, I am quite excited about it and looking forward to it.”
Adding to this, actress Neha Bagga said “This show offers a perfect blend of comedy, drama, confusion, and chaos. Apart from showcasing a different kind of weddings and rituals, the audiences will get to see another side of the story of the wedding planners who are constantly stuck in their own mess yet are headstrong about getting lovers together in matrimony.
